安Savariar joined 曼彻斯特 University in July 2018 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical and 研究生 Life Sciences. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Huntington University and her Master of Science Degree in Pharmacogenomics from 曼彻斯特 University.
At 曼彻斯特, she teaches in the Pharmacogenomics, Pharmacy, and Nutrigenomics programs. Her expertise is in the Pharmacogenomics laboratory, from teaching DNA extraction to running PGx instrumentation to generate PGx genotyping reports. Her goal is making PGx accessible and understandable for everyone. She conducts demonstrations and sales for clinical laboratories interested in expanding to Pharmacogenomics testing. She loves volunteering to teach Pharmacogenomics to all ages, particularly at summer camps, to showcase the importance of personalized medicine.
In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and weightlifting. She values spending quality time with her family and pets.
